Loved this hostel! Iris, the owner, is so kind and present. Check in was super easy and I was able to check out late before my flight. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms are really nice. My room had full bed bunk beds -- it was so nice to have a little bigger space to sleep after twin bed throughout the rest of my trip. The hostel is in a great location too and is super clean!

The villa is located in the most incredible of settings. The view from the beautiful pool and hot tub area, includes a view of the mountains, as well as glimpses of Ponta Delgado and the ocean. But the loveliest part of the property, is the orange groves brimming with beautiful flowers, which guests are free to wander and enjoy. The villa itself, offered all the amenities a guest could want, and offered ample space for our family. It was beautifully decorated and well appointed. Our host Anna, was so sweet and helpful. The homemade cakes she periodically left on the dining table, were a welcome surprise at the end of a day of sightseeing. The villa was perfectly located as a base to explore San Miguel and was very close to Ponta Delgada. But once you were back at the villa, it was an oasis of calm and tranquillity. The pool and hot tub were wonderful for relaxing and soaking tired muscles after a day of exploring the island.
