Partenope Hostel and Suites ligger i Angra do Heroísmo, med Zona Balnear da Prainha-stranden bare 7 minutters gange unna. Loved this hostel! Iris, the owner, is so kind and present. Check in was super easy and I was able to check out late before my flight. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms are really nice. My room had full bed bunk beds -- it was so nice to have a little bigger space to sleep after twin bed throughout the rest of my trip. The hostel is in a great location too and is super clean!

Caparica Azores Ecolodge is a project conceived as a generous and open place in its conception and operation, dedicated to meetings and exchange of ideas. The breakfast was a selection of everything I love to eat. There was fresh squeezed orange juice, fruits, breads, cereal s, Amazing coffees of your choice, and eggs made any style. The hosts was friendly and helpful with all things asked. Can’t get over the wonderful sound of the birds everywhere.

Casa do ti' Marrão har overnatting med balkong og gratis WiFi og ligger i Praia da Vitória. Overnattingsstedet ligger i en bygning fra 1937 og har uteplass. The host is one of the most hospitable persons that I have ever met in my life. She made us try local products and every time we had a question she would do her best to help. The kitchen was well-equipped and the entire space was clean. We hope to come back in the future.

Quinta do Espírito Santo har gratis WiFi og gratis sykler og ligger i Angra do Heroísmo, 2,9 kilometer fra Negrito-stranden. I spent 20 days in the Azores. but the best came at the end. I was allowed to spend 3 nights at Quinta do Espirito Santa with Lucilia and Francisco Maduro slides. I was allowed to spend my stay in a beautiful outbuilding of the Quinta. The house and the rooms in it are lovingly furnished. You are transported to another distant time. But the two hosts are definitely the highlight. I have never experienced such warm hosts. A hearty breakfast with many local specialties was served in the main building. The two gentlemen had a lot to tell and gave me an old insight into life on the Azorn and Terceira. We especially liked the conversations with Francisco. I was able to take away and learn a lot from his knowledge as a history professor. I highly recommend Quinta do Espirito Santo as a place to stay. The hosts receive 1000 points from me. Rolf Winzeler Switzerland

Helpful, considerate, generous, going out of her way (e.g., to check me in late at night)... The mattress was GORGEOUS!!! There weren't outdoor chairs yet (as outdoors it's still kinda work in progress), but my first full day COMFORTABLE chairs were purchased (NOT some inconveniently silly items!!!) Every appliance, every switch/bulb worked, everything was of good quality (e.g.,Grohe mountings!) I even liked the fact that there were proper mugs!!!
