I would describe it as an old but very well maintained house that has a lot of character. You can roam around some of the house and find books, paintings and places to sit. There is also a shared kitchen. Definitely worth coming here.

The Apartment is huge! Lots of space, with everything you could need in the kitchen. We even went for a dip in the lake. Hosts welcomed us on arrival and were lovely. Information sheet on the table with all the wifi details etc. Very easy transition.

This is not just a place to stay — it’s an experience of warmth, nature, and pure calm. I will definitely come back again.

Stadshotellet is set in an elegant Art Nouveau building on Stor Torget square, 10 minutes’ walk from Västerås Central Station. It offers free Wi-Fi, stylish rooms and an English-style gastro pub. Great hotel in the heart of town.
