Situated close the center and the castle. The terrace is very beautiful. The sun rises upon us in the rooftop room that was given to us. The room was clean and as in pictures. Taken the breakfast on the rooftop terrace was very pleasant. Beautiful experience ! The host was very helpful and with the parking place, which, in Gjirokastër, is difficult to find. Very welcoming hosts.

I don't even know if I have enough vocabulary to describe how much I loved staying at their place! It was beyond my expectations for everything. Everything is brand new since they just started the hostel/hotel. Breakfast was better than any other restaurant. Apparently, the owner worked as a chef before she retired. We felt so welcomed during the entire stay. If you are doubtful since there are not many reviews, please don't! It will make your trip 🥰

We had an absolute perfect experience with Bujtina Anlu. The views are spectacular, still it’s close to Gjirokastër. The room and breakfast were perfect, food was so delicious. But what makes this place special is the people - we had a problem with the car, we had a flat tire and a dead battery and they gave it all to help us - even managed to open a closed car repair nearby to bring us a new tire and found a guy who could load the battery. The hospitality was truly unmatched. We would like to recommend this place to everyone who’s looking for the best experience possible. Hope to see you guys again!

This is one of those places that deserves an 11, not a 10. We booked one night and stayed another and wished we had more days. The location is perfect, right near the castle and high up the hill. There are several restaurants in the old town down the hill but also several good places closer just around the property and up. Breakfast on the terrace with that awesome view, what a wonderful start to the day. We had a triple room and it was very spacious with great beds. It's a family hotel and everyone we interacted with was so very friendly. It was a nice bonus to have a place to park the car. So many nice things about this place, it was a perfect choice.
