Cozy bedrooms and bathroom. In the first floor there is lovely living room and also the kitchen. It is 15 minutes to Gmunden to the lake by car and for its resonable price it is the best accomodation in the area.

Booked last minute - found this place closer to Hallstatt! Turned out to be in a quaint little mountain town with the beautiful church on one side and the river on the other side! Very clean and friendly host! Only 20 minutes to Hallstatt!!

The accommodation was excellent! The hospitality was impeccable, the staff was friendly and helpful, both before our arrival and during our stay. The room was comfortable, spotlessly clean, with heating and hot water throughout our stay despite the region's low temperatures. Right across the street is the train station (Steeg-Gosau), which takes you to Hallstatt station in 8 minutes, where you can then take a boat across to Hallstatt. Despite the proximity to the train station, there was no noise at all in the accommodation. There is also a bus stop right in front of the accommodation, but we chose to use the train. Personally, I would recommend renting a car for greater convenience, as the train schedules end early, and it saves time on travel. Additionally, there are no supermarkets or stores in the area, so I would suggest getting supplies from the supermarket in Hallstatt. The accommodation offers breakfast, which seems excellent, but we chose to leave early in the morning to explore the area. Overall, we had an exceptional hospitality experience, and we would definitely choose it again and highly recommend it.
