Rene & Nienke are great hosts! We arrived past midnight due to a failing car, but Rene was waiting for us in front of the B&B to welcome us. What a host! We had some great conversations with Nienke & Rene. The food was great and the place was very clean. It's definitely worth a visit!

Everything was so perfect!! The family room is extremely big with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 queen beds! The owner is super friendly, always smiling and making conversation 😊 the beds are very comfy and cozy. And then the breakfast was super mega delicious! It's more like a 4-star hotel, i would say. We will be definately coming back ☺️

What a good 'find.' This was in a quiet area outside of the Hallstatt area. We chose this because it was close to Spittal an der Drau. So, the Reidnwirt was great. The staff was so friendly that you felt as if you had known them for years. The room was a bit small for two people, but we managed and we had twin beds as requested. Our trash was picked up daily. We spent two nights. Free parking out front was convenient. The views from our room were fantastic since a storm was rolling in. The photos are views from our room ... we didn't hardly use the balcony as the weather turned chilly, but I cannot stress enough how fantastic the mtn views were from our room. Just a beautiful setting for families (there is a large outdoor space with play items for children), perfect for couples, good for business folks with a car. We ate dinner downstairs in the bar/restaurant twice. Great food and a fun, quiet atmosphere. I imagine in the summer, there are more folks in there, but we enjoyed a few patrons. The room was on the 2nd floor (American counting) and that wasn't fun for my back, but we managed. It is an older Gasthof but everything was very clean and neat. If you enjoy meeting local people and blending in with them, then this is the place to lay your head. Beds were comfortable. It would take us about 15 minutes to get into Spittal and park. We also enjoyed driving through some of the nearby small towns. My cousin and I would definitely stay there again!
