Iskra was an amazing hostess. She keeps the rooms and common areas pristine clean and the kitchenette in the apartment well stocked with pots, pans, etc so that we could cook for ourselves. She supplied us with extra towels over our one week stay. There's a very nice view of Smolyan from the balcony/terrace.

The cleanliness of the room and of the hotel exceeded my expectations. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I ever stayed, including 4 star hotels. Bathroom very clean. Beds are comfortable. Parking available in the yard. Owner speaks only Bulgarian, but it was fine. They live in the same yard and are around, but not staying at the reception.

Our hosts were super welcoming, including to our quite large dog. We were given a choice of rooms, since more were available, and ended up having a floow by ourselves. We got to chill in the garden. Grum the dog was really happy.
