The room was incredibly clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The private parking was great! The owners were caring and very attentive, they truly took care of us. It’s very close to the train station, so it was very easy to get around.

Katiusca is truly the most sweet, kind, generous, warm, and welcoming host. She literally welcomed us with open arms and was so kind to us from the very first message when we had booked our stay months prior. We feel like we made a new friend! She went out of her way to explain and answer our questions regarding restaurant reservations and activities in the area. She verified times for us for the little train that goes around Bellinzona, which is an adorable little train ride and she gave us tips about the local markets and was so attentive to our every need. She offered us lovely goods from the bakery for breakfast and the vanilla croissant was so delicious and the bread she provided every day for us was some of the best bread we've ever had! And the view from our "Blue Balance" room was absolutely stunning! It had a floor to ceiling window with a gorgeous balcony and we could see the mountains and the town and the castles and there aren't enough woods in the world to say how fabulous the view was and we were able to see from the comfort of our room fireworks on New Year's Eve. The view from the shared kitchen was lovely and we were able to heat some basic things on the stove. There was no microwave but it wasn't necessary for us. She is such a lovely person and gave extra pillows in the room at our request because we were recovering from an injury. She gave us beautiful gifts when we left and offered us fantastic Prosecco when we arrived. All in all it was an extraordinary exceptional stay and we highly recommend it. She is a truly kind warm and welcoming person.

The setting is unique, beautiful, peaceful and so much fun. We called it the Troll Village. The food at the Osteria was amazing (be sure to book in advance). When visiting, be aware that the Bus comes only once per hour and there are no shops in walking distance, so have with you everything you might need. There is a mobile bakery selling breads from 8:00 - 8:15am (except Sundays), which we found very cute.

Good location close to the train station. Very nice breakfast. The owner is very welcoming, providing information and the Ticino card for free traveling in the area. Great place to explore vally Verzasca from.

The hosts - phenomenal people. Restaurant and bar great. Good dog walking in nearby fields.

This place is spectacular! We had to cancel another place down the mountain which looked sketchy, this place had a small but mighty menu of home made gnocchi, a wonderful mixed salad presented beautifully and some roast beef that was delicious. Breakfast was delicious cheese and homemade jam. Even though it thunderstormed on us, we felt rested! And we really enjoyed our stay! I highly recommend the drive up the hill to this rustic beauty and charm of a hotel. Excellent!

A very warm welcome by the hosts, a great bed and a hot shower (with great water pressure, which isn't always a given!). The house is in a very narrow part of the street, take care when parking! :)

Lovely and charming pensione type stay. Small rooms with two shared bathrooms down the hall. It wasn't crowded, so we did not feel uncomfortable. Good nights sleep. Stayed 3 nights. We had dinner twice. Excellent food! You can tell it is a loved local restaurant as well. Highly recommend the experience for an authentic European stay. The staff are very friendly. Family run business.
