An amazing place to stay - it's like a BnB meets a boutique hotel. Our room was so lovely, with a window seat looking out at the mountains. The rooftop view was even better! The owners are very nice and speak good English which is very helpful in China. We have been travelling around the world for almost 1 year now and this was one of our favourite accomodations ☺️

We spent 4 nights at Dali Dare which was super nice and calming - it was a place where time slowed down for us. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view from the balcony. The hosts were lovely and super welcoming. Had the best mi xian (rice noodles) for breakfast! The location is a bit isolated - it’s about 30 mins drive to Dali Ancient Town but it was also nice being away from the crowds. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Dali.

The hotel has a beautiful view of Erhai. I could see Erhai from my bed. The small hotel was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was delicious. The owners and staff were amazing. The owner helped all new guest take beautiful pictures with Erhai. They helped me with using Alipay, WeChat Apps for making payments, ordering taxi and deliveries. The owner even drove me to the bank and helped me put money in my WeChat Wallet so I could continently make payments with WeChat for the rest of my trip in Yunnan. I highly recommend this small hotel to anyone.

Perfect. Quiet and peaceful in the middle of bustling Dali Ancient Town. Room was nicer than most apartments! Contained within a courtyard wall are small outdoor seating areas and a rooftop laundry room. Close to North Gate, this place is a perfect base for exploring all of Ancient City as well as trekking further afield to Chongshen Si and San Ta (about half an hour walk). Scores of restaurants within seconds of walking out of the alley. Staff is exceptionally warm and helpful. The manager has tons of advice for exploring Dali as well as nearby environs.

A 8-minute walk from Erhai Gate in the center of Dali, Mengyuanju Boutique Inn provides accommodations with access to a garden.

Super friendly owner, great location just outside of the ancient town which makes it silent for sleeping. They also have washing machine and you can hang your clothes to dry. The room is spacious.

My family enjoyed the stay very much. Highly recommend it! Room is big and clean. Owners are super friendly. The Dog, little prince, is soooo cute. In terms of location, it is in the old town and you cannot find a closer place than that. There is also a popular hot pot restaurant nearby.
