This hotel truly exceeded all expectations. Not only was it very modern and immaculate, but it was also tastefully decorated, making for a very pleasant atmosphere. The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with all the necessary amenities including a mini-fridge and coffee capsules for use in the lobby's coffee machine. The bathroom was particularly beautiful, with a sleek, modern design. The staff was extremely helpful, with the receptionist going above and beyond to provide us with information about nearby parking options (you can actually park for free in the spots around the hotel) and transportation to the city center, as well as recommendations for local pintxos restaurants. The hotel's location, while a bit outside of the city center, provided a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded streets, making it a perfect choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The location is 20 minutes walk from the main cinemas, as we were there for the San Sebastian International Film Festival. Our pension was nest to university accommodation which made it a very safe place. Plenty of restaurants & bars close by.

The communication regarding check in, and how to find the accommodation was clear, specific, and super helpful. In an incredible location, short walk to the beach, right in the old town near all the incredible pintxo bars. Everything you could need just at your doorstep. Staff were SO lovely and helpful. Free coffee and tea in the room were a treat. They gave us a free upgrade to a very large room, which after a few weeks of travel in small hotel rooms was absolutely incredible. Street noise wasn’t really an issue for us - we found the closed balcony doors blocked out most of the noise on the street. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need for a quick meal, etc. Beds were super comfy. Everything was sparkling clean. A/C worked well (one in bedroom and one in the living room). Elevator was handy for carrying up our luggage.
