It's close to the highway at the end of town but fairly accessible. The rooms are clean with strong wifi. The bar/restaurant is separate from the hostel with no access from the inside. No complaints at all as i only stayed overnight.

Wow! What an awesome place!! I got a fairly new, private room, which was located at the back of the property and under the eaves. Wonderful! Clean, airy and spacious. Wonderful bathroom. It was nice to have all of this space for a night whilst walking the Camino. This hostal/hotel is just a few minutes walk from the main square of Cacabelos.

Beautiful room in a restored building in a quiet area (even though it is on the main road.) Host was really kind. If walking the Camino, highly recommend staying here instead of Ponferrada as it's both nicer and better value.

Lovely property right in the Camino as you enter the town. Check in is at the panaderia across the road and was super easy. My room was beautiful and spotless. The host was amazing and I ate an early dinner at the panaderia that afternoon and it was delicious!! A great stay!

A must place to stay if you are in the area and love a bit of real atmosphere. Maria is fantastic, at breakfast she will give you plenty of tips on what to see and how to get there. Just down the hill is a super picnic & swimming lake with a little beach bar with canoe rental. Make sure to do the 5km walking loop up to the Mirador de Orellán (from the accommodation). Maria also cooks a super meal and the hobbit houses are lovely.
