We had a truly wonderful stay at Château Haut-Clarise in the heart of Saint-Émilion. What truly made our stay exceptional was the warm hospitality— Julian welcomed us with genuine kindness and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They were incredibly helpful in suggesting local wine tastings, which led us to discover some hidden gems in the region we might have otherwise missed. If you’re looking for a peaceful, French country side personal experience in Saint-Emilion , this is the place to be. We would return in a heartbeat!

Our host was charming and the house spotlessly clean.. Access to a communal kitchen gave us a decent fridge which was needed in the hot weather. Best of all was very efficient air conditioning in the bedroom.

The room was very spacious for a couple to enjoy a quiet stay in the center of the city. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and simply decorated with thoughtful details of french charm. The staff was very friendly and always so helpful. I absolutely loved staying at La Maison du Clocher!

Property was beautifully presented, had many different seating areas and had everything you could need. I couldn’t fault it at all! Beautifully decorated Chateau. The Manager was so extremely kind and helpful. She made the stay even better. The rooms are large. Modernized but with that traditional Chateau vibe. Breakfast was amazing
