A ton of wee touches that were amazing - complimentary breakfast, earbuds, face towels, and all sorts of little bits and pieces that I don't even remember that just make up for a great stay. The mini fridge was the cutest thing! The host also logged a guest account into netflix and, in general, seemed to have thought about all the details. Everything was great! Only one bit of constructive criticism, which is, of course, partially our fault to get details on things like putting up the heating and turning on the hot water. But we figured out everything with the help of our host and also just looking around. Everything was amazing.

This was a last minute booking, but the B&B was able to accommodate me with a great room that was exceptionally clean, recently remodeled, warm, and quiet. The location is great for sightseeing on foot in downtown Fort William. I highly recommend the Whinburn!

Easy to find (with provided instructions), this modern guest house was a great place to catch up on our rest and start the next day with a good meal. Hosts were amiable and helpful without being intrusive. The bed was comfortable, and the view, both from our window and the ground floor patio, was great. Breakfast was delicious and presented piping hot. Will surely check this property's availability if I'm ever in the area again.

The property is stunning, very cosy and comfortable. All areas were exceptionally clean. The staff were incredible they create a very personal experience and I felt utterly relaxed. There is great attention to detail and they have created a fantastic menu. I was given excellent advice regarding things to do in the area and I was able to make the most of my stay.

Strávili sme tu 2 noci, izba aj kúpeľňa boli naozaj priestranné, čisté, upratané. Mali sme veľmi pekný výhľad z izby na loch. Posteľ bola pohodlná, k dispozícii chutné domáce raňajky. Personál bol veľmi milý, slušný. Na izbe bola k dispozícii varná kanvica aj s čajom, kávou. Parkovanie bolo veľkou výhodou, keďže sme prišli autom.

We stayed in 4 hotels during our Scotland trip. This was by far our favorite hotel. Our host was super nice! The facility was super clean and up to date.

Lawriestone is located overlooking a loch and we booked a loch view room. We had sunny weather on the 2 days we were there and we were able to watch evening sailing and some early morning loch swimmers with our morning tea . Jan is an excellent hostess and gave us suggestions on things to do in the area. The room was comfortable with 2 large armchairs , a good shower , tea and coffee and a large bed . Breakfast was excellent , fruit salad, cereals , toast, croissants ,boiled eggs, ham and usual tea ,coffee and jams ( and Marmite for those that love it ) . Easy parking and only 15 minutes walk to town .

Our room was very comfortable, had an incredible view of the loch, and was surprisingly large compared to other places we stayed in Scotland. I didn't want to get out of bed most mornings! However, the breakfast and coffee were well worth it to get up and start the day.
