The location was excellent for visiting the York Minster, old town & city walls. Even using a walker, I was able to access everything I wanted. There are many restaurants nearby. The room was very clean & Mark was a congenial host. He had an excellent map & marked it all out for us, called a taxi for our train & waited with us until it arrived. The bathroom has been upgraded with a walk-in shower & was sparkling clean.

This elegant Edwardian townhouse, built around 1904, is a small family-run guest house in York. It is a 5-minute walk through the Museum Gardens to the Minster and city center.
