Guest Houses in Akhmeta

Up a hill to the south of town - about a mile to walk from the bus station. But the advantage of this is that it's in a quiet neighbourhood with little traffic. Inside, the house is rather grander than it appears on the outside, with parquet floors everywhere of which the friendly hostess is justly protective. I imagine that in clear weather there would be grand views to the mountains. My small single room was cosy and very good value.

By far the best guest house we have had in Georgia. The guest house is located just outside the village, in the nature and with a beautiful view. The rooms are simple, very clean and comfortable. Mari is a great host, her cooking is amazing and she can help with whatever request you had on Toucheti (hiking, transport, horse riding). She knows very well Toucheti and her little attentions during our stay really touched us. We will put 10 stars in her evaluation, just because there are no more stars to give!
