We had a really nice stay there. Rooms are clean and with a nice view. Owners are super friendly! They picked us up in front of the old walls (only locals can access it by car) and drove us to the house. We got our welcome drinks and enjoyed the view. There are really not many places like this and we really recommend it!

Amazing location in the old town of Motovun. As you come out of the building, you get a wonderful view of the valley. I imagine this is a traditional Istrian house. I loved it because it feels more like a cottage, not a hotel. You can also use the shared kitchen if you want to cook (not just a kettle & microwave but a proper kitchen) and the living room even if you only book for a single room.

The host was very friendly and accomodating. She offered us some drinks as aperitivo e personally showed us the room and the facility. It's in the countryside, more or less a 30 minutes drive away from Porec (which is worth a visit) and near the medieval city of Montona/Motovun.

It was a lovely stay ... the ONLY comment is that it was hard to find. I didn't realize that there wasn't really parking AT the location. It was a very short walk and not a problem at all, but just didn't know what to expect. Otherwise absolutely perfect and very friendly proprietor who made me a cappuccino this morning ... very warm family vibe and I wish I'd had more time to explore. Knowing what I know now, I'm planning to stay a month in Istria next time and explore every nook and cranny. It's an absolute feast for the eyes and spirit.
