The property has stunning grounds and garden, Balinese style, with many hidden corners and pavilions where you can relax. A small babbling brook borders the property so you have the relaxing sound of water all around. Thre is a also a pool which we didn't even try as we were so enchanted with the garden. The bungalow we had was richly decorated with gorgeous balinese textile curtains. What made this place truly special for us is the welcome and service Marc and Ericka (owners) gave us : they not only organized a Mt Ijen excursion for us but a fantastic massage by Aini. In the restaurant, son Ricco is a talented cook and the food was excellen... Best breakfast pancakes on and out of Bali!

Amazing stay with Danu! Close to the ferry and such a lovely location. Really enjoyed breakfast and his care to make sure everyone had a great experience to see everything they were interested in. I arranged a tour for Ijen and Bromo when I arrived at the homestay and really appreciated all his help to plan a great time in East Java. Wish I could’ve stayed longer!

our room was very clean and with a good fan cause i don't like ac the position is really good as you are in front of the train station Linda speaks very good English and she was super kind, she also helped us with the medical certificate for ijen her mom has a warung upstairs and her food is so tasty that you'll lick the plate, we had lunch there everyday, there are nice cafès nearby and people are very kind and happy to see foreigners and have a chat
