Herman is an absolute star. he was like a magician making things happen for us. access to chill out restaurant Wi-Fi is not bad at all. Gili islands are rustic in nature - which is the charm of the place. don’t expect luxury, which comes at the cost of environment.

Adinda is one of the best kept secrets on Gili Air. It’s in a prime location for sunset, close to everything, but still a little removed and secluded (especially if you book the back garden bungalow) and only 10 steps from the beach. The bungalows are simple, clean and cozy and the fruit plate at breakfast is perfect. Adi, his family, and his staff are super welcoming and make it feel like home. It’s the only place I want to stay on Gili Air. I can’t wait to come back!
