stayed at homestay in oct24 , Room was clean and comfortable. The staff , especially Sri Ram and sidhanshu were friendly and helpful . They arrange guide for us , he was too good and patience and helped us a lott(akhilesh) . The break fast spread was impressive .

Maa Durga is one of a kind! Vishnu is one of the most genuine, caring, kind,inspiring, knowledgeable, helpful and compassionate humans we have ever met in India! Our room was perfect, we slept like babies, the water hot and pressure was awesome! Location is prime, right off the Ghats but still quiet enough to get all the rest you need! Vishnu is known for his delicious chai and heartfelt conversation! He knows everything and everyone in Varanasi and can help you plan and execute your adventures with a quickness.. He truly cares about his guests and genuinely wants the best for you! If you want to go on a real adventure ask him about his street food tour, so awesome!! Over all we loved our stay and will always choose Maa Durga and Vishna when we visit Varanasi!!! Thank you for everything!!!

Beautiful guesthouse. Sona gave me a worm welcome and explained points of interests. The room is on the smaller side and probably doesn't fit well two people with lots of luggage but it's perfect. Everything works as expected, the AC can run on a low speed and very quiet, the bed is firm and comfortable. Love the playful bedsheets. Very clean too. I saw her husband cleaning stairs. Finally a man that helps her wife. A rare sight in India. The meals I had were delicious, everything homemade. Sona takes pride in making her own spice blends. They arranged an airport for me two times. I also took a cooking class with Sona and it was fun. I learned a few things about Indian cuisine.

"Recommended for family". I stayed there for 2 days and had a very good experience. Staff was very good and specially Manager "Sushil" is very professional in his work maintain the decorum of hotel very well all time. Room was good I took double bed room which was enough for 2 people.
