The husband and wife Mr.Gudni and Mrs.Ella made us feel at home .. are you kiddng me never seen it in our life. We have travelled so much but this is the first time. Mr.Gudni welcomed us like my friend. The place is not a hotel its a shared location (people need to understand that). We made friends the first night time flew for us. We had to come back again there. This time it was better they have these tents my Wife and 2 girls enjoyed so much (first time they were sleeping outside). It was the culmination of a great trip and great country Iceland. The Godoland is little bit off the beaten path (10kms) but its worth every penny you spend. I am very thankful for the Couple hosting us. We will definitely stay there if we go back to Iceland again.

The cottages are lovely and have all the necessary amenities to spend a few days. The check in process was very easy, and check in and check out could be done any time without having to wait. Located in the nature, the surroundings were calm and on a clear day you can even see one of Iceland's most beautiful waterfalls from the cottage.

The apartment was spacious and well furnished. The owner was SUPER helpful and always available to help out. The location was convenient for the golden circle sightseeing and close to supermarket and restaurants.
