The location was perfect in close to Husavik. The view over the harbor was very nice. It has everything we needed and then some. Good communication before and after arrival. The location is above a supermarket but you really did not notice it. But it was very convenient if you needed anything. The washer/ dryer were great.

Although the facility is run for several years it looks completely new. It was very quiet and the only sounds we heard were birds.

The place was magnificent. This was our best stay in Iceland thus far. The room was comfortable with a table outside and a view to a waterfall. We stayed later than any other during our visit to Iceland. I highly recommend staying here.

Tungulending Guesthouse is the best place to stay in Iceland if you appreciate a quiet peaceful time and have come for the Icelandic nature. It is a little remote. My daughter and I had a marvellous time there and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. For us, it was magic. In summer, when the owners offer coffee and tea, try the homemade chocolate cake.

We were the second people to stay in the 'new' guesthouse. It was wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and eat our meals. The view was great. The host was extremely nice and helpful. Highly recommend!
