I loved everything about this property. The location was perfect. Very central and walking distance from great restaurants. It was clean and the staff was incredible. The view from our balcony was amazing to wake up to every day.

My second stay at Baia D’Amalfi with the lovely owner, Maddalena. I specifically came back to spend more time at this hotel on the Amalfi coast. It could not be more central, looking directly onto the water. A two minute walk to the pier complete with a sitting area on a balcony with tables and an ocean view. Pick up some supplies from the local shops and enjoy a bottle of wine here for a fraction of the cost and with much more privacy than eating in the middle of town. Maddalena makes sure you have her number if there is anything you need and gives the best recommendations. I checked out at 10am on my final day but my flight wasn’t until 10pm and she graciously let me charge my phone and refresh in the lobby after parasailing. She is just the sweetest and works so hard to make your stay the best. A small note is that it is on the 3rd floor with no elevator and North Americans - please don’t expect the Ritz in the middle of NYC! This is a historic building on a historic coastline and the eccentricities and quirks of the hotel reflect that, just as one would hope when coming on such a holiday. It feels like such a rich part of the culture and coastline. The air con was fabulous, the location divine, and I caught the most amazing view of the super moon above Amalfi from my room. Again, this is my second time at this hotel and for good reason, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else and my only fear writing this review is that it will become so popular it will be hard to get a room here for what has now become my annual Amalfi trip. We had everything we needed (thanks Marco) in a beautiful room, steps from the lido, pedestrian stroll and the ferry port. Just like in the picture, we could have a drink on our balcony and look at the sea or take a very short walk to an array of restaurants. Galene is also close to a great laundromat if you need.

Hospitality of the owner, good location to the main street of Amalfi and ferry ports, outstanding view from the room, jet bath.

Everything. The staff were extraordinarily kind, helpful, hard working and professional. My room was spectacular —perhaps the nicest I’ve ever stayed in. The views were amazing, the whirlpool was phenomenal, and the terrace with fruit tress was a treat. The breakfast was also first rate.

I can write a long story but to make it short this Villa is amazing nice beautiful gorgeous peaceful lovely relaxing lovely. If you coming to Positano it’s your staycation believe me you won’t regret.

Recently upgraded property very nice and comfortable rooms with italian ceramic style. Quite and local neighborhood, walking distance to cafes and a restaurant. Private parking one block away.

It was beautiful, the people were friendly, the amenities were wonderful!

My wife and I recently spent 4 nights at Palazzo Don Salvatore and it was perfect. Even before our arrival the staff was fantastic, helping book transit from the Salerno rail station to the property. Upon arrival we were greeted with smiling faces and warm welcomes. Everyone we dealt with at the property went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. We wound up in Room #6, top floor with an amazing view of the mountainside and the bay. The entire facility was immaculate, clean, and comfortable. Each morning we would come downstairs and sit on the terrace to enjoy breakfast, before venturing out into the town and surrounding areas. The main downtown area of Amalfi is short walk along the roadway, just watch out for cars and mopeds, but you are far enough away from the beach and shops that noise is never an issue. Each night we were again warmly welcomed back to our "home", and would usually enjoy a drink or two on the terrace before retiring for the evening. It was hard to leave but if we ever return the Palazzo will be at the top of our list for places to stay.

Honestly one of the best locations in Amalfi Coast! Also all bar fridge drinks were included! Will definitely come back
