The owners where super nice, the interior was amazing and it had all the amenities that you would expect in a hostel : ). And again owners where super nice 🙃 and had good tips for things to do in the area. (Also located at a walking distance to supermarket, restaurants, hells of beppu and onsen 🛀). Place was also good value for money

It's a great place to stay near Takachiho Gorge. It's great value, quiet, and clean. It is very small, with little room for possessions, but it was great in that it gave us the opportunity to have a leisurely time at the gorge. Oh, and it has parking.

The house is very cozy and clean, it’s an old style Japanese house almost feel like antique. Location is 10mins walk to the major attraction areas. Hosts are super nice and friendly, area is very residential, super quite and safe.

The bedding was comfortable and the breakfast was sumptuous. The host was was thoughtful and when she noticed my young child was not eating much of the food, she prepared another sandwich for her. She also made an effort to share the stories behind some of the figurines she gave the kids using the translator. We had a great time!
