We had an exceptional stay at this wonderful property! The location was perfect - nestled in a quiet and clean area, yet just a short walk from the shopping district. I could go on and on! I felt like home, in a Japanese home! Plus, it was within walking distance to the metro and was in the middle of the city. It made it easy going around Kyoto. I would love to stay there again one day.

Everything about this accommodation is just so nice. The hosts are the highlight, they waited for us since we did late check in, and when we checked out he dropped us off at Kyoto station knowing that we have quite a few luggages. The wife's cooking was wonderful, what a nice traditional Japanese breakfast, overlooking the garden in the rain. Highly recommended!
