The location was great, the accommodation is within walking distance to the Matsumoto Station. The dorm itself was spacious and clean. If I had to rate this property based on the host Shotaro,I would give it an 11.

Raicho Onsen Inn is amazing. I will come back if I can for sure. The staff is lovely. The private onsens are amazing. We went on a snowshoe tour and it was seriously the best thing we have done in Japan. There is a communal kitchen, which was really great, and spaces to relax and work. I wish we could have stayed longer!

My family really happy staying here. It feels like staying at home. The place is close to Mt. Norikura and isn’t far from Sawando parking area for Kamikochi. We stayed for 2 nights and this is the best place we stayed for our 13 days Japan trip.

It is apparently a 100 year old building, but extremely comfortable to stay in, with good overall facilities. Their official check in time is 21:00, but they let us check in at 22:00 as our bus was delayed.

It was really good place to stay! The staff are very friendly! The location is perfect, near Matsumoto Castle and some convenience stores.

I highly recommend this place! Location is perfect. The hostel has a kitchen, laundry room, common areas… and Sara is the best! She was very welcoming and helpful. I forgot something in the hostel and they helped with the process of sending it to my next destination. I am so grateful.
