We loved everything about this place, the location, their beautiful house, the hosts who were so lovely, caring and friendly. They did everything to make us feel comfortable. Wish we could have stayed here longer. Definitely going back here when I'm in Japan next!

    The place is very cosy and peaceful. The hosts are wonderful, they were treating their guests like their own family, checking all the time if we needed anything and indulging us with cold tea and coffee. I also recommend the nearest onsen, especially in the evening when it' s not that hot.

    The best place to stay in Saiko lake area. Papa and Mama San were amazing hosts. They treated us like family with plenty of tea, coffee and cake! Not to mention, their breakfast is amazing and worth the extra cost. The Japanese style rooms were beautiful and the whole place was cosy. There was an amazing onsen nearby too.

    It felt like a home away from home, it’s very quaint with lovely views around. Mama and Papa always put the fire on to ensure it was warm. The futons were surprisingly very comfortable. Wonderful to have exceptional home cooked food made with love for breakfast, bonus points for catering to vegetarians. Onsen with insane mt fuji views 10 minute walk away (discount provided by hosts). Great conversations, such lovely people to be around!
