Exceptionally clean and well presented accomodation. Tomii-san was an excellent host and couldn't do enought to help us.

Location: Could not have asked for a better location to ski slopes and a very easy access to the main village. Lots of dining options around. Comfort: Wonderful property, we stayed at the family room with the Mountain View and it was comfortable and roomy for all of us (4 people). Great views, great AC, TV, small kitchen, separate living and bedroom areas. Laundry for a nominal fee and dry room to store ski gear after the day on the slopes.

Food!!!! I am very happy that I found this place. The rooms are somewhat basic but more than sufficient for a ski trip. It’s within walking distance of the slopes but still the hosts will drive you back and forth. The hosts are very hospitable and the lady speaks good English. My favorite part was the food, the breakfast was very diverse and the dinner was another level, some of the best meals I had in Japan. I think it’s a restaurant because one night people that didn’t stay at the lodge came to have dinner, but they don’t advertise. I highly recommend this place!

We liked our family room, it was plenty of space for our family of four. it was a warm and cozy lodge where you could hang out by the fire and have a snack or play a game or head down to the basement and play some wii. Breakfast was a new lovely surprise every day all of which were delicious, though also had tasty cereal, toast or yoghurt options. Jessie and Cassie are lovely managers, making sure all guests are comfortable and even helping us get where we needed to go. This helped to negate the small trek to restaurants (just over a km - which seems long sometimes after a day of skiing). We were there during a blizzard that got over a metre of snow in 24 hours and we felt warm and safe. Jessie, Cassie and later Rachel all helped make our stay perfect. My 11 yr old insisted I write this review as he loved the place so much!
