Everything about this place was perfect. I truly hope I make it back to this magical remote spot in Japan one day just to stay at this place longer! I was only there one night and it was too short. I stayed at Shin’s place in Oct. It started to get cold at night and early morning. The place was clean and comfortable. His mom shared with us very nice chiffon cakes she baked. The persimmons from his garden were very delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality. They were several places to visit within an hour drive. We spent a good evening at the lunar observatory for the star gazing. Mt Aso is worth a visit. We walked along beautiful Takachiho trial. The overall stay and visit was amazing. We would love to come back again in the future.
