Everything really. We came across it by chance when out walking and were delighted that we found it. Upon arrival we were upgraded. We were happy to chill for the day as we had a few busy days traveling so the pool area was ideal. Staff were so helpful also. Would highly recommend. Breakfast is also 10/10.

The location could not be more perfect for access to the night market and the old town, while still being a "quiet yet lively" area with bars, restaurants and ATMs nearby. The office for booking tours and vans for onward travel are next store and they know the hotel owners, so coordinating travel and activities is very easy. The owners are extremely kind - they will go out of their way to make sure that you are well-talen-care of, and they stay on site, so they are often available for anything that comes up. The husband's English is very good, he will talk with you and tell you about local life if you are interested :-) Also, the included breakfast was a great start to every morning. Overall very high value for money here.

everything was perfect ! my room was really clean and very quiet. location is great and you can borrow a bicycle for free at the reception . the owners are really helpful and helps for everything ( booking train ticket, rent a scooter )…

This is the best stay in Luang Prabang! Thongbay GH exceeds my expectations in every way. Their hospitality is top notch, friendly and helpful, helping me last minute with the transportation. I’m thankful for that Khob jai lai lai. The bungalow is sparkling clean, the bed is very comfy, hot water and a/c works well. This together put me good sleep every night :D The hotel is located in a local neighborhood, 15-20 mins walk to Phousi Hill and 25-30 mins walk to the night market. I love seeing the city on foot so this is totally fine for me. There’s also daily shuttle in the morning and evening, so convenient for anyone who prefers not to walk. Overall highly recommended this place, worth everything :) I feel connected already 💗💗💗💗
