Nice mountain view on top floor, room 301. Balcony is large and clean, the room is also clean and very tidy. So friendly and helpful worker, named Tom, great guy!! Thanks for your hospitality, I will come back Vang Vieng and stay at Local Guesthouse. Definitely recommend.

Lovely guesthouse, my partner and I stayed at two other places in Vang Vieng but Smile Guesthouse was by far the best! Comfy bed, absolutely gigantic ensuite, and exceptionally kind and attentive staff :) Due to dietary requirements (vegetarian and vegan) we did not have the included breakfast at the guesthouse (all either egg or meat-based). However, the staff were absolutely fantastic and not only offered a discounted rate but also gave us fresh fruit and even made us vegan dessert pumpkin soup on one of the days! This place is exceptional, highly recommended for a friendly and relaxing stay. We were on the top floor and the view from the little balcony is great! Next time we’re in Vang Vieng, we will most certainly be staying here ♥️

Anna manages the place really well, she helps with almost everything we need. The swimming pool is also cleaned by them every day, it's really a nice place to stay for a while However, our trip was not long, so it's a pity to say goodbye so soon

The location was great. Right in the center of town, near the river. It was clean and fit for what we needed. Alex was absolutely amazing from his communication to his energy and attitude. He sorted out trips for us and also organized tuktuk driver to blue lagoons. Breakfast was delicious.

DD Guesthouse is brand new to booking, we came across it by referral. Newly built, great location, quiet and the owner is really kind. So don’t see the low amount of reviews as a problem. My partner and I had such a special stay here. The whole place had breathtaking views and was a real farm stay feel. Waking up to misty mountains and buffalo’s with veggie gardens on the land. Delicious breakfasts made by our host Kent who was also so kind and welcoming. The location was great and you can organise rock climbing next door.. as well as close caves, lagoons and view points. We loved it so much we extend our stay.
