Our stay was absolutely magical! The hospitality was outstanding. [Begum], sorry if I wrote it wrong, was incredibly welcoming and kind. Her behavior was absolutely exceptional, and she spoke English very well, which made everything so easy. It truly felt like a privilege to stay with her. One of the rare people who made us feel completely safe and cared for, without any pressure or intention to make money off us!!She always recommended the best options for our trips, ensuring we had the best experience. The food was delicious— Begum is an excellent cook, and I highly recommend trying her meals! The room was clean, with a comfortable bed. Our private shower was just across our room. Thank you so much for your kindness and outstanding hospitality.

Wonderful room with a spectacular view, well decorated, clean and spacious. The buffet breakfast was very extensive and delicious. Staff was friendly. The weather wasn't so great, sadly, but i will definitely come back in summer!

Everything. The room was lovely and had great views. The staff went above and beyond - they’re so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, but the best part was definitely the on-site cooking class. It was so much fun and so yummy. It’s a bit outside of Haputale but a 300 rupee Tuk Tuk is super easy, and it’s walkable to the monastery down the street which is a much see little attraction. A+ all around!

Wow! I only have great things to say about this place. The clean, great location and hospitality of the room was incredible. The lovely lady, Kalai, who owns the property is incredibly sweet and humorous. I was the only guest staying here for 2 nights and she treated me as part of her family - even making me breakfast on the day I checked out. I 100% recommend this stay to any other traveller. You can also rent a scooter for a small fee to explore further outside of town.

The place was great with amazing views and a calm atmosphere. You hardly ever hear any vehicle traffic. You could hear a lot of birds, especially in the morning. The staff did an amazing job to make us comfortable and made us delicious meals. The owner, Muni lives next door and was very responsive to all our questions and requests. The villas themselves are very nicely designed, built and decorated. Everything was very thoughtfully done. Great place to wind down and get in touch with nature.

We spent 10 wonderful days in Haputale. Thank you Dias family for your warmth, friendliness and help. Mother Farina is the best cook in Sri Lanka. Her cooking fantasy is fantastic. Viraj is very attentive and ready to resolve any issue. Shirodh is a wonderful guide. We showed us a beautiful Lipton Seat. There is also Frank. At his hut you can have a delicious roti and tea during the day. The hotel is in an amazingly beautiful location. You can see sunrise right at the door of the room. We walked every day through tea plantations and mountains. The shared dinners turned out to be a new but interesting experience for us. We met interesting people from many countries and had talked a lot. I hope we will come to White Monkey next year

Excellent place in Haputale, we really loved it. The room was very comfortable and clean, it had everything we needed. The host is very nice, he helped us with all our questions and was very welcoming. We will stay here again if/when we come back!
