The property is located near the ocean, so you can enjoy waves sounds.

Very good location, 3 minutes walk from turtle beach.
There are lots of restaurants nearby. Hotel is super clean. Rooms are very big. Staff is super helpful and friendly.
I think this is the best place in Hikkaduwa, just book it, you won’t regret it!

United StatesWe LOVED Chami's place - first off, Chami the owner is a legend, well connected in town, and very personable. Before checking in, they made us tea and talked to us which was great. They gave us the best tree house on the property and lots of advice.
There is jungle all around, train tracks, close to town, great breakfast, and very cute property with dogs/monkeys around.

IrelandI note that I was asked to move into a building nearby the L&D Inn. L&D Inn. and L&D Lodge have a good location - close to the ocean. This is a new hotel with modern renovation, a wonderful shower, toilet, large room, beautiful view from the window, air conditioning, lots of light, hot water - everything works. It was important for me to have Wi-Fi, it’s generally ok, but there are severe slowdowns in speed, and once there was a power outage (but not for long). For a small fee, a large kitchen with a refrigerator and a gas stove for cooking is available. I would recommend visiting a nearby restaurant with European and Russian cuisine "Cool Spot", and a supermarket Sandagiri Super Market (Pvt) Ltd.

Great Location, Great View from the seaview rooms, Decent free sunbeds on the beach and clean beach towels provided, Breakfast was an added bonus, not western style but they happily made you great toast if you asked. and you had fresh fruit tea coffee juice as well as sri lankan breakfast offerings. Drinks also where slightly cheaper than the surrounding beach bars
