This hotel was so clean and comfortable! The owner was very helpful and friendly. He let us keep our bags in the room while we did morning scuba dives and checked out late. It is very affordable. It did not have hot water or AC but the fan worked well and mosquito nets for the beds so you can keep the windows open for a comfortable sleep. It is a ine minute walk to the main bus station and 5 minutes to Poseidon Dive center. The location could not have been better. We highly recommend staying here!!

Perfect Stay! The hotel was in an amazing location, just a 2-minute walk from the beach and city center. The host and staff were so kind and welcoming. Our room was big, with a large balcony, and the hotel was the cleanest we experienced in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect. Very good location, 3 minutes walk from turtle beach. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Hotel is super clean. Rooms are very big. Staff is super helpful and friendly. I think this is the best place in Hikkaduwa, just book it, you won’t regret it!

Very clean, quiet, near the beach. A good amount of restaurants nearby. Close to the bus and train stations. Use of the kitchen is allowed. Filtered water available. Nothing but positive things to say about this place. Would stay here again!

Lovely quiet away from main road, treehouse style rooms in a mini jungle! Loved hearing trains go by! Also has yummy food in cafe in hostel, along with Chamis Hikka Chill cafe on the beach.

I note that I was asked to move into a building nearby the L&D Inn. L&D Inn. and L&D Lodge have a good location - close to the ocean. This is a new hotel with modern renovation, a wonderful shower, toilet, large room, beautiful view from the window, air conditioning, lots of light, hot water - everything works. It was important for me to have Wi-Fi, it’s generally ok, but there are severe slowdowns in speed, and once there was a power outage (but not for long). For a small fee, a large kitchen with a refrigerator and a gas stove for cooking is available. I would recommend visiting a nearby restaurant with European and Russian cuisine "Cool Spot", and a supermarket Sandagiri Super Market (Pvt) Ltd.
