Everything! Breakfast was delicious, room had great size, no hot shower in some rooms but in shared showers yes, so not a problem at all. Tony and his brother are amazing, and Tony gave many advices and suggestions about Jaffna. Staying again there when I visit the city again!

Allen's place is a little oasis in the middle of Jaffna. We loved our stay! The room and bed are very comfortable and the breakfast made fresh every morning by Allen himself. There is a warm shower and the garden great to read a book. I'll come back longer next time!

Everything about Gatetrees was great, especially Karna, the manager. I learned many things from our conversations, and enjoyed watching Karna perform the rituals for the first day of Pongal. The rice dish he cooked was very tasty. Karna organized a tuk tuk tour of Jaffna peninsula for me with Sinthu. Sinthu showed me many interesting sights. He also told me about Tamil history and current Jaffna customs. I recommend Gatetrees to anyone.

This hotel provided exactly the serene escape we were looking for. The clean and spacious room gave us plenty of space to relax, and the minimalist design really helped us clear our minds.
