Our stay at the lodge was wonderful! The location is absolutely beautiful and the décor is charming and welcoming. The area is so peaceful, it made for a perfectly relaxing getaway. I had a wonderful stay at Skyy Villa Polhena! The place is cozy and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. One of the best parts of staying here is the location – just 250m from the beach, making it easy to enjoy activities like snorkeling, diving, surfing, and even turtle watching! The sunsets are absolutely beautiful, creating a perfect evening atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Polhena. Looking forward to coming back!

This is the perfect place to be. The host is very attentive, the entire house is SPOTLESS CLEAN, the kitchen has everything you can imagine, including an oven! There is a washing machine you can use free of charge and they even provide washing powder. The room is new, the bed is comfy and the a/c and fan works perfectly. The bathroom is huge and has strong hot water pressure. The room features a cute balcony, desks, chairs and mosquito net, plugs by the bed. The propriety is located near the beach, away from the busy main road and has plenty of restaurant and shops around. Internet worked well. I highly recommend this to anyone coming to Mediha. We love it and can’t wait to go back!

The best stay we had in Sri Lanka during 3 weeks. Very nice, new, clean room, equipped with everything you need, and our host was truely amazing, helping us with whatever we needed and beyond! Highly recommended!

White and clean sheets very soft and comfy 6 pillows big mirror makes you feel like in heaven ❤️ cattle with two bottles of water, tea bags and cups makes your morning shine at best. New AC works very silently. Toilet paper and soap with tissues teleports you to the European ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ hotel standard. Must have Sri Lankan tasty breakfast for only $4, and they are the best you could ever try. Everything is done with care and 💕. Very much recommended!!! 10 out of 10!!!

First of all if you like a place that is quiet it is the place to go and nevertheless a walk of 5 minutes get you to the beach and plenty of restaurants . If you like to walk you are 15 minutes from the Main Street and 30 minutes from Matara. In Matara you can eat for 400 lkr on the beach is 1600 lkr and up.

We had such a lovely stay at Banyan Scape Villa, Matara. Mr. Suranga, the owner, is one of the nicest people you’ll meet — he genuinely knows how to make guests feel welcome. There’s also the sweetest dog on the property, which honestly just made the place feel even more comforting and full of good vibes. The place is right next to the beach and Food City and very convenient of travelling to any place nearby. The rooms are super clean, beautifully decorated, and everything, from the furniture to the fittings, works perfectly. The rooftop terrace has an incredible view of the forest and sea, and there’s a small hill with trees where you can relax with a drink in the evening, we did that every day! Breakfast was another highlight, homemade and absolutely delicious, prepared with care by Mr. Suranga’s wife. It really felt like staying at a friend’s beautiful home. Highly recommending Banyan Scape Villa, if you’re looking for calm, comfort, and a touch of natural beauty in Matara. We’ll definitely be coming back.
