Beautiful property in a good location. It’s is so well decorated and exactly what I expected! The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Parking is about an 8 minute walk, but you can get the young boys to help with luggage for a fair price - and they know the shortcuts! Breakfast with a view on the terrace was delicious!

We spent two nights at Iguana Azul and were very happy with our stay. The riad is perfectly located—right in the medina, yet tucked away on a quiet and beautiful street just off the main road. Upon arrival, the receptionist, Walid, kindly offered us a choice between two rooms. The rooms were spotless, clearly newly renovated, with a comfortable bed and plenty of space. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to relax, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. Amal at the reception was incredibly helpful in finding us the best way to travel from Chefchaouen to Rabat (note: when we were there, only one bus per day ran at 7 AM, but an alternative is taking a grand taxi to Tangier and then the TGV, which took us just 3.5 hours). We would have happily stayed longer—this is a truly comfortable, laid-back place, perfect for enjoying a coffee on the terrace with stunning views of the city. Thank you to the wonderful team—we highly recommend staying here!

I recently stayed at Riad Chengli in April and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. The room was clean, spacious, well-appointed, equipped and offering all the comforts I needed. The bed also was lined with electric blanket to make sure my comfort during the cold night. The riad’s location was perfect, many local restaurants nearby and not far from the main road for transportations, making it easy to explore nearby sights. I also enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning, which was a great way to start the day. The staff, alongside the owner, made sure everything was perfect. I highly recommend this riad for anyone looking for a friendly and accommodating place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this pension. The hosts are really nice and they shared a lot of information to enjoy our stay in Chefchaouen! Also, they provided some help to find the best route to drive to Fes. The location is perfect to walk around the medina. We arrived by car but the parking was just 10 minutes by walk. The room had everything we needed. Also, the terrace is amazing, there's a great view from there. We totally recommend!

The staff was very kind, We left the riad early (6 a.m) and they made take away breakfast for us. The hotel is really aesthetic and comfortable .

The riad is perfectly located with a beautiful view. A few minutes walk from the main medina streets, and a few minutes from the parking as well. The riad itself is much cuter in real than in the pictures. Rafeeq and crew were super hosts. They accompanied us to and from the parking. Gave us a quick overview of what to do, where to eat and the likes. They serve a cute breakfast as well, and do so with very warm smiles. Absolutely loved our stay here.
