Well maintained facilities and the cozy atmosphere... everything is much better and more awesome than i saw in pictures. You have a spacious common space with an amazing view on the first floor for reading books, watching TV, playing billiard or just chilling. We loved to stay there. Rooms are also very spacious and clean. Moreover, their foods are amazing. I had the best Tajine ever and loved the breakfast as well. The staffs are very kind and always ready to help. The view from the gite is just crazy! We'll definitely come back this spring 😀

Very friendly staff, Hassan and Mohammed were extremely nice hosts, always offering tea and even inviting me one evening to dine with them. The property is rural. Very calm and quiet, surrounded by the mid-Atlas mountains. It is halfway between Ifrane and Azrou which was very nice. Overall, extremely satisfied as I was able to relax. The rooms came with enough blankets to keep warm at night. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

My family and I loved our stay at le Gite du garage. Fatema is a wonderful host, pays attention to details and brings a lot of positive energy, accommodation were no frills but comfortable, the view from the room and surroundings is stunning, I highly recommend a walk on the road leading to the village before sunset. Food was delicious. My little boys loved playing in the garden and seeing the sheep come back to the village at the end of the day, they still talk about it. Go there, you will be supporting a local a family and get to know the real Moroccan countryside. Will definitely come back.

It’s a classic riad that was owned by the late Caid or Lord of Azrou, Hachem Ben Salah. It’s noteworthy that the late king of Morocco Mohamed V stayed as a guest in the 1950’s before independence. A great location and good value!

The property is right by the Azrou Forest so when we left the next morning, we met the infamous macaque monkeys on the street almost right away and enjoyed giving them some food. The property is quiet, close by to downtown Azrou where we walked around and found some street food (since we arrived late from Fes). Our host, Mohammed, was a friendly young gentleman who visibly enjoyed conversing with and exchanging stories with his guests. The breakfast outside by the Berber tent was a nice prelude to our visit to the Sahara later. (There's an option to eat in a large ballroom but who wants to when a Berber tent awaits outside?) Room was super clean, large with high ceiling, and very quiet. In our itinerary, this Azrou hotel serves as a nice alternative to overpriced Fes or Ifrane as it brought us closer to our driving target the next day, Merzouga.
