Breakfast was different everyday, made with very fresh ingredients. The host was able to answer any questions I had, and the other guests respected each other. I stayed in the bunk room and loved the individual lock spaces for our backpacks, the privacy screens on each bunk, and the individual lights inside.

Wonderful breakfast of omelette with fresh eggs, vegables, sausage and toast with jam. Tea is always available and the dining room has a full size fridge and microwave. The hot water tank works well for showers and I appreciate the posted reminder to please conserve water. Oyuna and Gan are very friendly, kind and attentive hosts who communicate in English well. On the morning I checked out, I requested they call me a cab and they kindly had a family member drive me to meet my work group to depart for the countryside.

A super friendly, personable and well-run, quiet hostel in a very good location - five minutes' walk from State Deptartment Store and around 15 minutes' walk from Gandan monastery. The shared bathroom is spacious, immaculate, and has a great shower. Beds are comfortable. Open plan kitchen, plus seating areas for meals and lounging. They arrange tours and fairly priced private airport transfers, well worth booking if you're tired on arrival or have a very early morning departure.

The apartment was a hidden gem. Clean, adequately furnished, and host very helpful. It's the little things like a mixrowave, water dispenser machine, towels laid out, individual light for each bed..etc. The apartment is in an older building but has been remodeled snd well thought out.

Really clean and comfortable. Nice big kitchen and living room area to hang out in. Plenty of hot water and fast wifi. Very quiet and mellow. Just a short walking distance to great coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and shops. Incredibly nice and helpful staff. Free use of the washer. Highly recommended!

The staff is wonderful. If they could help in any way, they would. I booked a budget room as I would need it only for sleeping, because I was outside oriented and the place was excellent, especially for that price and in that location. But the staff was the best aspect of Khongor.
