The host family is great. Friendly and awesome helpful! Amazing. The place is surrounded by nature and a waterfall in the forest. Beside your own room you can use the common living room and terrace which are huge and offer a great experience like sitting in the rainforest. Since there are only 2 rooms, you have the place sometimes really for yourself. Its a really nice place to stay for a cheap price.

Christian met me at the dark alley and walked me to the lodging in the dark. This was so much appreciated! And to top it off, he met me at 7:30 am and drove me back to the airport! What wonderful and thoughtful service! The room was fine.

Tamanu Lodge is a great property located very close to the airport! It is also close to a shopping mall and restaurants. The room was very clean, big and had all necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. The owner Vanina is an amazing person with a very generous and kind heart. Carson was a very professional and responsible host. The place was even more spacious than we thought it would be. There was air conditioning in the bedrooms and lots of extra fans as well throughout the house. Carson was also very thoughtful in providing us with 2 umbrellas since it had been raining there so that we could use it to walk to nearby restaurant and supermarket.
