This place was an absolute surprise! You might feel funny heading down this winding country road but when you arrive you're in an absolute oasis. It is a hidden gem, absolutely worth it. The host and owner is so very kind and inviting. The grounds are an enchanting garden. The rooms are large and ample for a family. Two nice swimming pools, a very well appointed dining area. Playground equipment for children and room to wander. There are about six grills for entertaining, as well as facilities and meeting areas, for events. Great place for couples, families, groups. This place is an absolute gem, it's very private, the room is basically a separate small "house". It is spacious, with comfy bed, table, a/c, you have your own fridge and drinkable tap water... There is a small patio with chairs outside the room and a lovely garden. The shower works really well, it has hot water, the wifi works perfectly. Diego was really nice and friendly, he ensured I had all I needed. The location is also great, easy walk (no hills!) from the bus stop and the main park. I felt very safe (as a solo female traveler), not just in the hostal but overall in Paraguari. It's a total paradise for nature lovers, there are lots of hikes around (I really liked Cerro Hu and Cerro Santo Tomas). I prolonged my stay basically immediately after I arrived and I wish I had more time, I would have definitely stayed longer!
