This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get away from it all! I wanted to be up on the mountain and enjoy some peace with great views. It had that. I was able to start hiking right away in the morning. The chalet provides that old school Slovenian ski chalet vibe. It’s a great way to connect with others there including local Slovenians and the guests, or if you want to go on your own and have quiet, that is possible too. They were also able to accommodate my vegetarian requests. Each room has its own bathroom.

We did arrive pretty late (at 23.00), but the check-in was very smooth. Staying at the quiet, somewhat private hotel was really nice. Located in hills, it offers fresh air and felt peaceful. The hotel had a cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The breakfast was just great, especially with some tasty local foods. I'd definitely recommend it for a quiet getaway with some local flavor.

Excellent choice to begin our multi day hike. Simple, no- frills, big terrace. Able to walk to excellent restaurant for dinner and village market/grocery/little cafe. Communal refrigerator we were able to use.

Hotel room was compact, modern pine styling and had the basic needs perfect for us like fridge, kettle, tea/coffee. Lovely common space and terrace. But the greatest benefit was Peter. He provided such helpful expert travel advice and has fantastic customer care!

The location stands out. You can visit Most na Soči and Tolmin nearby or take the train to Bled. The lovely hosts, Roger and Louise, can fill you in with lots of information on many other things you can do. The deck has an amazing view, you can just grab your drink after a long day and relax while watching the sunset. There is an option to get a nice breakfast. Louise is a very talented cook so I definitely recommend opting in for dinner as well. Overall, this place offers great value for its price. If you wish to explore the region and looking for a place to stay, this place is the top choice.
