The lovely hosts, Roger and Louise, can fill you in with lots of information on many other things you can do. Louise is a very talented cook so I definitely recommend opting in for dinner as well. Overall, this place offers great value for its price. Each apartment is different. We had the upstairs apartment without the balcony. It was fabulous, it was as updated as possible, the kitchen had everything you would want for family meals. The upstairs apartment has access to a washer and dryer. The location was in a quiet area but walkable to the restaurants in town as well as the gorge and Castle Hill. There was also secure garage parking for bicycles.

Sparkly clean. Massive room for two people to stay. We were given an entire floor with separate bathroom access on the same floor. It felt private to access the bathroom.

Staying at the quiet, renovated hotel was really nice. Even though it's near the main road, it's surprisingly peaceful inside. The renovations made everything modern and comfy. It's convenient being close to the main road but still feels tucked away enough for a relaxing stay. I'd definitely recommend it for a peaceful getaway.
