Roger and Louise were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, going beyond my expectations to make sure my visit was interesting, varied and fun. I booked one night and ended up staying four.

There are two main benefits to staying at this place. For one, Barbara is a warm host, and she has excellent knowledge of the area. If you have any questions about how to get somewhere or what to do, she has you covered. Secondly, the location is excellent. It's right in front of the Soca river, and it's only a 3 minute walk to a grocery store and a bus stop that will take you to Tolmin.

A nice family run business close to Tolmin and all the Soce Valley attractions. Their restaurant menu was really good and affordable too.

Chalet Burja at Vogel mountain - cable car access or hiking - not reachable with car in Bohinj provides accommodations with a bar and a shared lounge.

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get away from it all! I wanted to be up on the mountain and enjoy some peace with great views. It had that. I was able to start hiking right away in the morning. The chalet provides that old school Slovenian ski chalet vibe. It’s a great way to connect with others there including local Slovenians and the guests, or if you want to go on your own and have quiet, that is possible too. They were also able to accommodate my vegetarian requests. Each room has its own bathroom.

Excellent choice to begin our multi day hike. Simple, no- frills, big terrace. Able to walk to excellent restaurant for dinner and village market/grocery/little cafe. Communal refrigerator we were able to use.

We loved our stay at Pri Marjotu! It was the best sleep of our trip, and the property was absolutely stunning! The family/staff that run the property were also available and beyond helpful with any of our needs. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxed spot with amazing restaurants within a quick 2-20 minute drive.
