The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. The room was decent for the price, and the home, especially the kitchen, had everything you might need. Beyond that, the host’s family went above and beyond by showing us around, taking us to lakes, several viewpoints, and even arranging a boat trip and jet ski ride to Lake Coatepeque near Santa Ana. They also took us to the Volcano restaurant with the yummiest food we had during our stay, all at a very fair price.

we had a great stay at Casa Isabel. Manuel was very welcoming and attentive and very nice to talk to. We arrived unannounced and he came straight from work to let us in the property within minutes of messaging him. The room is basic but comfortable and the patio and garden area is nice and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked and the wifi is good. The property is located a short walk from the park/cathedral and restaurants etc. Manuel also gave us some delicious avocados straight from the tree!

The location is just perfect, right behind the majestic Cathedral and perfect to explore Santa Ana surrounding areas...I rented a scooter from the Hostel and had an amazing time!! The spacious room with ensuit bathroom, and the privacy I got because each bed has a curtain. The garden, the community kitchen and the amazing kindness of the Staff!! They gave me all the information I needed with a smile!

I was elated with my week here. An amazing price for a very comfortable stay. Good sized room and bed and with a private toilet/shower. Can't believe it had air-conditioning in the rooms! Wifi worked well. Close enough to the central square. Modern clean common area with some seating and a TV. Kitchen area offers a fridge, small microwave and a hot and cold water cooler. Nice dining room table. Friendly and efficient staff.
