Location is great - in the centre of the old town of Stone Town - short walk to everywhere including the ferry port. Has a decent kitchen, dorms are decent size, good bedding and clean bathrooms. all in a great place to stay with nice helpful staff

Beautiful Mansion on the sea with great view if fishermen's morning activities. Located in awesome enchanted garden. Fascinating book on family history available to read on site No A/C but no mosqiitos either. Charming Hugarian hostess. Good though limited food and limited bar availablr Loaded with atmosphere - will not disappoint the most romantic soul

Deserves a much higher rating on Booking. Lovely and welcoming staff. The owner is very responsive. Location is right in the heart of Stonetown, so it’s easy to walk everywhere, but still quiet. Large rooms and private bathroom was clean with hot water. Excellent value for money. The owner kindly arranged a very early morning taxi and checked if everything was going well. A very caring man. I would definitely stay here again. Google maps has it in the wrong place, so you need to head for the Hindu temple or Secret Garden.
