I didn't have breakfast as I don't think breakfast was included. I did make myself a couple cups of tea in the kitchen/dining area. I think you could have used some of your own food in that facility. This is a wonderful place to stay. Most highly recommended. I would definitely try to book it if I were to visit New Orleans again. It is walkable from the train station although Google Maps does not provide the best route for getting there.

The Dragonfly is a wonderfully eclectic period house with attention to architectural and decorating detail. It has every amenity (including a teapot) and Lore provides little touches that make your stay both comfortable and welcoming. There is also a lovely garden pool area for relaxing after busy days in the city. The bonus is walkability in a beautiful neighbourhood and easy access to the French Quarter. I highly recommend it and hope to visit again.

Very centrally located on Bourbon St. So, if you're into the nightlife, that's perfect (Frenchmen St is not far if you prefer the vibe there, and sights, landmarks, public transport etc. are just a short walk away, too). Astonishingly quiet for being directly on Bourbon St., even if you have the room towards the street (to be sure, you'll hear a few drunk people outside, but I had no problem sleeping whatsoever). Great place for Poboys (NOLA Poboys) is right on the next block, too :) Beautiful inside yard. Terry was very nice and helpful. All in all a very nice, relaxing, and uncomplicated stay. Will try to stay here again, if I come back to NOLA.

The rooms are huge and very secure. The staff were lovely and the location is close enough to key places to be able to pop back as needed during the day. We stayed during Mardi Gras and while it wasn’t cheap, the price was good for what we got during that time.
