The owner was very communicative in texts. When the power went out one day, he stopped by and dropped off a battery light for us to use in case the power did not come on. (it eventually did). It's located about a mile from the train depot, and about half a mile from "downtown". We enjoyed having a coffee pot and coffee, and a few random emergency snacks in the cupboards. One night all but 2 restaurants were closed and they were no longer accepting patrons, so we ended up eating microwave popcorn from the cupboards, and tourist smoked salmon we had bought.
