A Gem off the main highway. We were greeted by Alfie (the tame goat) and then Amanda (the hostess) who was absolutely wonderful. A true Country Guest House. Chickens (beautiful, true free-range, fresh eggs for breakfast), ducks, donkeys, alpacas, dogs and of course Alfie made up the menagerie. The dinner was delicious and the breakfast, what with those beautiful eggs, was excellent. The room was very comfortable, tastefully decorated and had the beautiful high pressed steel ceilings from a bygone age. Definitely a must.
