And we loved Valbonë, such a wondrous and beautiful place. We highly recommend Guesthouse Mountain!!!

Yes its a 30-40min walk from the start of the Valbona-Theth trail but you are here for hiking anyway so it didnt bother me if we would have to walk 15 or 16km in total. We had some bad weather on arrival so we basicly stayed the whole afternoon in the restaurant reading books and drinking coffee and beer. The host is a great guy, his kids(i think) speak very good english and are also helpfull. Food is really good at night to (opposed to the restaurant on the other side of the road - avoid that one)

Run by the amazing Marita, she provides the most amazing hospitality - we had lovely coffee and tea, the breakfast was big and filling and she packed our breakfast for the day we left for the hike to theth and it served the perfect breakfast/lunch! The room is new with super comfy beds and pillows. The bathroom is also new and clean! The guesthouse itself is in the most beautiful location - surrounded by trees and right next to the start of the trail to theth so you don't have to walk so far in the morning. We had a great stay in the most magical surroundings!!
