Many guests have cars, but if you don't, a bus into town stops right in front of the property every 15 minutes or so.

In many other places in Austria and Germany, people just tend to switch to English when they hear me :D On top of that, the area in the mountains is just gorgeous and the premises were nicely taken care of and clean.

Some snacks, coffee and tea were always available. The staff was very welcoming. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel, it takes you straight to the city in a short time.

Couple who ran the place were very friendly and responsive. Excellent breakfast. Super quiet, parking on site. Easy bus ride into central Salzburg. An added bonus was free transit pass.

Overlooking the Salzach Valley and the Untersberg Mountain, Pension David is 1 km from Puch and 4 km from Hallein. Salzburg can be reached in a 15-minute drive. It features an outdoor pool, free WiFi access, and en suite rooms with satellite TV. Great breakfast, guest card that allowed us to take public transportation to and back from Salzburg. Parked our car to the closest train station for free. Josef was helpful and gave recommendations.

Featuring a private beach, Hotel Garni Melanie in Wals bei Salzburg has an indoor swimming pool, a fitness room and a spa area with a sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and a sun bed. Bicycles and parking are available on site free of charge. Breakfast was abundant and of great quality. The room was very nicely furnished, had a homey vibe to it and you could feel the family's care in every finishing and detail. The family members (staff) were very friendly, helpful and warm to all the guests. I hope to return here :)

Lovely hosts good location for Salzburg Christmas market and St Wolfgang. We hired a car there was parking at the hotel. Breakfasts were lovely and plenty of tea and coffee

Located in a historic town house, right in the heart of Salzburg, the family-run arte vida boutique guesthouse offers a garden with a seating area and features rooms with Moroccan-style furniture. Please note that the arte vida boutique guesthouse has no lift. The Getreidegasse, with Mozart’s birthplace, is just a 5-minute walk away. Centrally located. It had the vibe of the city. The place has a culture and speaks about its host. Was not just another tourist place. Carefully chosen interior decoration, paintings, curios - everything spoke about the touch of the host. Very cozy and family friendly - most welcoming place that I have stayed in this vacation. It gets very warm in this season so they had provided a fan, which was a great relief.
